We couldn't let this project proceed without a Belgo twist and when we were offered a load of freshly harvested high-altitude hops from the K..A.G. Ranch in Divide, CO and new Cabernet Savignon barrels, we saw an opportunity to fill out our Heralded Nocturnes trifecta. Dried cherries, oak, fresh-cut grass and hop spiciness dominate the aroma. A gentle hop bitterness gives way to a green hopness that hints of that Scotch grassiness, earthy spiciness, full malt roundness and crisp, finish.

Looked forward to this unique beer, but it was a let down all around. NO belgian pale ale aspects to this at all. Generic grapey sweetness, and the rest is a muddled (FLAT) mess. Not completely unpleasant but no distinguishable character whatsoever. No carbonation didnt help.
