We took our rich and creamy Oatmeal Porter brewed with judicious amounts of crystal and Munich malts and aged it in bourbon barrels. Special release.

Not only on tap anymore, but in a big ass bottle, from PfoxyJohn. Double or triple wax dipped bottle top that was a real bitch to get/cut/MELT! through to open - but worth it. Thinnish brown black pour, very tight tan head, nice lacing throughout. Big oak/woodsy aroma, roasted malts and molasses, light vanilla and Bourbon, more oak and vanilla and roasted goodness. Porter, got to remember that this is a Porter, and a damn good one! Mouthfeel is right for that. Wanted more Bourbon, still supremely satisfying. Shared with @d3atlanta/Sam. Both of us loved it. Music: really did listen to Tab Benoit - "Night Train". Three versions: Studio, Live at N.O. JazzFest, Live from "Night Train From Nashville" release. "I'm a Night Train, Rolling 900 Hundred Miles..." It was a excellent nightcap - thanks John.

Only on tap at O'so can you find this, hope that changes soon because this is one of their best. Smells like butterscotch and whisky, looks black as night and tastes so much better than the regular Night Train. Smooth, silky, buttery mouthfeel that leads into a flavor that is as good as any bourbon barrel aged beer I've had. O'so isn't my favorite brewer because they are so inconsistant and their regular line up is very weak, but this is the exception to the rule.
