Purchased at REWE near Warburg. Opaque yellow, white little lacing foam. Citrus aroma and typical fresh Hefeweizen taste. Perfect when working my stamps. (Velp 201503)

Hazy yellowish colour, small white head. Aroma is banana, wheat and slight caramel and spices. Flavour is quite the sames, but with the spices being stronger. OK Hefeweizen, but weirdly enough, almost no foaming head on this one...

Bottle. Cloudy orange colour with a huge white head. Wheaty aroma. Fruity, citrusy, and malty flavour with some spices. Thinnish mouthfeel, a touch acidic in the finish. Not bad.

cloudy honey colour with a fine head, corn and banana in the nose; smooth, sweet, slightly too much carbonation, moderate malt body and long corny, banana finish

500 ml bottle, bought in Germany. This beer is brewed in Oettinger’s brewery in Schwerin. Pale golden colour, slightly hazy (less hazy than many other hefes), large and fluffy white head. Aroma and flavour have some some of the traditional hefe characteristics (banana and cloves), but to a weaker degree, and there are also some soapy elements in the aroma. I tend to like nearly all hefeweissbiers, but this one definitely belongs in the lower end of the scale. Still drinkable and refreshing.
