Dark amber color, medium head. Richly roasted malts, lightly hopped. Caramel flavor, rich malt taste. Full flavor. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is malty, no bitterness. Very nice beer.

Appearance of the ale was pretty gooddeep scarlet red sort of hazy with a small off-white head..lacing present. ,,ew the aroma is not good kinda sour with some hazelnut aroma..some medicinal tar also comes to mind. Nah this beer must be off..the taste is really nasty..like cold cheap tea..with an overlying sourness. Not good on the tongue just acidic. I cannot finish this beer..its awful..I hope this was just a bad bottle

This beer really falls off from start to finish. The color is a golden honey. The aroma is of caramel and nuts. The flavor is overly sweet and of caramel and hazelnut. The mothfeel is slightly bitter and a chewy nougat. It finishes very sweet and caramely with a hint of citrus.

Okay, this stuff looks good (it's unfiltered); smells good, too. But good taste is what I'm looking for. Tasted like they poured hazelnut syrup in a bad beer to give it flavor. Leaves the rim of your glass sticky and your mouth completely unsatisfied.
