The beer pours a hazed medium gold with a generous white cap that lasts. The aroma is barnyard funk, citrus and yeast. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is funky grains, light spices, yeast, and citrus. Pairs well with a banana for a vacation breakfast.

On tap at the VIntage Estates Wine and Beer in Boardman, thanks Ron. Pale clear yellow american lager color and appearance. Nice creamy white head that goes rocky after a few minutes. Slight beer and fruit aromas. Initial medium alky impact and this would be expected since this is the first Saison I’ve had that is even close to 8% alky. Perhaps this is what makes the difference between any old saison and the Belgy saisons. However, this slight alky impact rapidly fades and is well controlled. It evolves into a malty back of throat experience with mild bitterness. Medium carbonation. Not bad but perhaps not as refined as I like my saisons. Finish is medium length bitterness that hangs for a while then fades to a milder happy feeling. Not even close as far as enjoyability goes when compared to Jolly Pumpkin Bam Biere, John Harvards Belgian Summer Ale and Yards saison. Saison Dupont Vieille Provision and Clipper City Heavy Seas Red Sky At Night is even a little better than this. On par with other less sweet saisons such as Coast Range Farmhouse Saison 7.

12oz bottle pours hazy straw gold with loose tall white frothy head. The aroma is spicy, floral, acidic and then moving toward sweet apples, yeasty spices and then becoming a bit funky at the end of the draw. The taste is tart, slightly acidic, sweet with apple and pears and spicy too. It seems to run from bright spicy and slightly tart to smooth soft fruity sweet and then back to back again into the finish. All the while there’s a note or two of yeasty spice and mild funk hovering around.

4-pack at the LCBO with 7.7% ABV. Pours a cloudy golden colour with some nice tiny particles in the bottom of the glass. The head is fluffy, white, decent lasting and foamy lacing. Orange nose with some Belgian Ale yeast. Same for the taste with decent mild hops in the finish with hints of grass. Nice and smooth saison that goes down easily with lots of citrus.

Pours very cloudy golden yellow with massive white foamy head. Smells like very powerful malt and wheat. Mouthfeel is just about a notch above medium. Overall taste is refreshing but not very full with just a bit of aftertaste.

Saison has taken over as my favourite style from Belgian Wits, and this is easily the best of the bunch. Ambrosia form the Gods!. I may never be able to drink anything else ever again. It`s like a Belgian Wit on steroids! A big frothy head gives way to a nice cloudy gold. The aroma reminds me of a citrus grove in the Belgian countryside. Taste wise, so many great things going on at once. I denote a perfect mishmash of cloves, vanilla, and.....maybe even a little smoke?. I can definitely taste the grassy hops. I have tried this straight out of the bottle, and poured into a glass, now I gotta try it on tap. So far, prefer it out of the bottle as it loses a little something out of the glass, taste wise, yet oddly the mouthfeel improves. This beer kicked my ass hard! I wanna move to Belgium now and become a farmhouse Monk.

On tap @ the Town Crier, Toronto. 7.7% at this juncture. Pours a large amount of foamy white head. Pale golden appearance. Fairly clear. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas are mainly floral hops, light orange peel and wheats as well as Belgian yeast notes. Slight bitter citrus hop flavours, sort of yeasty, wheats and grain notes as well mild coriander. Mild spices. A bit of malty sweetness also comes through. Smooth and wet mouthfeel. Good balance. Medium retention.

Pours a hazed pale straw color with a 2 finger puffy cap that lasts well. Aroma of spice, grains some tart fruit and Belgian yeast funk. Flavor is probably the most delicate balance of sweet, sour, spice and malt tones in a saison since Dupont...spritzy, dry, tart, fruity and refreshinf with a biere de garde strength - one of the best saisons available.
