The second bneer by these guys this week, and just as unmemoprable as the first. Colour is clear, light amber, with a light ecru coloured cap. Herbal notes dominate the aroma with hints of rye, peppery notes, and cereal malts. Flavour is 'meh' at best. Lots there to taste like rye, citrus, caramel, and spices, but none of it stands out as dominant enough to mae me want more.

Flavours are all over the place. Rusty water being the most prominent. Honey, spice and plywood. Very carbonated with a thin mouthfeel. Can't remember the cost but I hope it wasn't much.

Pours a clean light-amber colour with an off-white head, decent retention and nice creamy lacing. Spice aromas with some honey, rye grain, sourness, butter and fruity malts, so a little all over the place. The taste is pretty oaky with some orange notes and the vanilla. A little too rich on the oak. Not enough rye to balance things.

Pours a huge foamy bubbly off-white head and has a golden amber appearance. Excessive carbonation. Thick sticky lacing. Aromas of vanilla, caramel, light spices. Flavours of light toasty malts, hints of caramel, rye and spices, barley. Some mild spicy bitterness on the palate. Has somewhat of a rusty, metallic like finish, sort of ruins everything that came before it. Still not bad but won't need to try again.

The beer pours a translucent golden orange colour with a half inch white cap and highly effervescent. The aromas is rye, citrus, grains, and earthy notes. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, slightly creamy, with average carbonation. The flavour is spicy rye, grass, light citrus notes, and a sweet honey finish. I like the spicy rye flavours in rye beers, and while it is up front here, there isn't a lot of it.
