330 ml bottle, from the brewery store in Velbastaður, where you are allowed to buy single bottles. ABV is 5.8%. Dark brown to ruby colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Roasty aroma, notes of cold coffee, distinct smoke and ashes, hints of liquorice. Relatively light bodied. Dry roasty flavour, some smoke, too moderate hops, hints of liquorice. Not bad, but could have been better.

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Murky brown colour with a small head. Aroma is grass, mild smoked notes, ashes, toast and some mild liquorice as well. Flavour is being quite similar. A bit thin in the palate, but otherwise good.
