Huntington Beach - Easily one of the best brown ales I've had the pleasure of consuming. Unlike some ESB's, this aroma showed some serious hop prescence and it was easily the star, but the malts were nice with enough sweetness and nuttyness to keep things balanced. The beer went down extremely easy, with notes of caramel, pine, nuts with a clean crisp finish. Reminded me in some ways of Drakes Hoppy Ass Brown. Nice beer.

Clover honey colored pour. Biscuity malt nose. Very slight herbal bitterness. Medium/light body.

Dark amber color, a touch cloudy or at least not very clear. Small head. Aroma is malty and sweet with a hint of fruitiness. A medium bodied amber. Malts are nutty and sweet. Hops are slightly spicy. There are a lot of roasted malt flavors and it is a little too sweet for an amber ale. It better than the average American amber, but it’s a little too sweet and cloying for my tastes. It was impossible to finish the 22oz pint. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet

I have had this on tap at Oggi’s in Mission Viejo several time. This is a medium bodied amber ale, nothing spectacular, but nothing bad

This had a HUGE initial sourness. Hop bite which was immediatly followed with a gritty malt finish. Why is this stuff sour?

This was a good session ale. It was a copper color with a rather large head. The flavor was slightly bitter with some sour grapes and honey. Quite sweet as well. Not bad.

This amber pours with a nice amber body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma and flavor are slightly sweet and malty with a slight fruity note, a little caramel and a touch of bitterness. The finish is bitter and piney. Medium bodied and smooth.
