Did seem more like a stronger bitter in it's aroma and flavor than a pale or ipa. Spicy, lightly bitter, british leaning (not my thing) but solid for the style.

Sampled on 9/13/2010 at the brewery. This American Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head with nice lacing. The aroma is caramel. fruity and sweet. The hops are earthy and floral. More of an ESB or bitter than a pale ale. Very smooth tasting, kind of reminds me of a cask ale. Nice balance. Would be a good session ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

light body and a deep rich gold color. good head and average lacing. light on hops for a pale IMHO, but a nice malt taste to it. needed a couple more notches on the hops meter for a pale.

Made for the smallest bar in colorado, this copper ale is pretty decent when it comes to local high quality "mirco's" in fort collins. my only complaint is head retention

The Town Pump poured a copper color with a frothy white head that went to a thin film and laced the glass.
Its aroma was grassy, citrus, sprucey hops.
The flavor was a little sweet initially with a piney hoppy finish, and a sticky bitter aftertaste. It had a good medium bodied mouthfeel.
Overall, this was a decent APA - kind of reminiscent of Hazed & Infused. I wonder if this is dry hopped as well.
