Not as hoppy, grassy, or complex as I was expecting, though it was a nice refreshing brew. More sweet malt, with some hay-like hops, but nothing overpowering. A little alcohol on the nose, but not overdone. Overall, a nice pils, but there's better out there within this cool style. 2013 - had a fresh one on tap. Gotta upgrade. All the flavors and aromas of a good pils, just amped up with a little more hops.

Certainly looks and smells like a regular old macro pils, piss yellow with a white head, lots of grass and stale malt aroma. Flavor is actually quite clean and refreshing, slightly herbal and all around not bad. Mouthfeel is pretty thin for an "imperial" anything, but still decent for a pils. An interesting experience, we'll see what I think when the 4 pack is gone.

Sampled on draft at Odells. Floral, spice and grassy hops. Flavor is dominated by noble hops but there's a stong pils malt backbone too. Medium-full bodied. This is up there with Rogue's Impy Pils.

Pours a crisp golden with inch-wide head and thick lace. Aroma of sweet malts, light hops, citrus, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is rich, smooth, and full-bodied. Flavors of malts, hops, spices, and light lemon/citrus.

Bottled@SBWF2007. Deep golden colour, not much head. Aroma is pilsish, buttery and some alcohol. Flavour is alcohol, fruityness, hoppyness and quite pleasant. Wellbalanced and also has some slight salty notes.

I look at the other reviews & wonder "did I have the same beer? Was I that drunk?" I may have been, but here's my review. Sampled from tap at O'Dell's taproom. Pours bright gold with perfect clarity and small, tight head. I thought the aroma was awesome...IPAish even with a huge foral-evergreen bouquet. Light-to-medium bodied & well carbonated, subtle warming. Balanced & full flavored overall. Tasty and satisfying. Maybe Odell adds a little extra magic onsite.

pours a yellow haze with a little bit of a white head. It had a stronger aroma. This beer seemed very hoppy to me. It has an 8.1% alcohol content. It left a slightly bitter after taste in my mouth. Overall it's ok. I wouldn't bye it again but if someone gave me one I would drink it.

Pour was yellow with some haze, otherwise clear, some head and lacing. Strong aroma of sweet grass. Flavor was predominantly sweet pilsner malts with some grassiness. Maybe a tad too sweet for everyday drinking, but nice for something different. Could have used a bit more hops to balance it out.

Tasted on tap at the 2006 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. This Imperial Pilsner (?) pours a light gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is cereal and grainy, a touch fruity and sweet. A medium to full bodied pilsner. Malts are fruity and sweet, with a touch of cereal and grain. Hops are slightly and a touch earthy. Nice pilsner, lots of body and mouthfeel, crisp and clean. A touch sweet, but only at the finish. Hides the alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle. Poured a clear yellow color with a thin white head. Small lacing. Strong grassy aroma like a typical macro lager. Nice full mouthfeel. Flavor almost malt liquor-like. Actually, this tastes like a malt liquor, maybe slightly better. Aftertaste of alcohol. Not really for me.
