Dawn has not arrived, but we are awake – cooling one small batch of delicious beer, or starting the next. O'Dark:30 is a beguiling combination of dark malt and NW hops, a tribute to the brewers of our region. Dry hopped with Cascade and Centennial Hops, this beer has a powerful hop aroma and flavor tempered with a malt backbone.

Nice breakfast beer, as this was a spot in mix of orange and grapefruit hops, coffee and a touch of chocolate. No heat. Sessionable yet complex and very tasty.

Very dark, almost porter looking ale. Nice and malty, but smooth and hoppy as well. Light tan head that lingered. A bit more on the filling side like a nice heavy stout.

This was one of the beers I tried at the Oregon Garden Brewfest a couple weeks ago. Roasted malt and chocolate with plenty of hops. Dark brown beer with an offwhite head. Medium body. Very nice beer.
