After a couple of months of collaboration with National Capital Homebrew Champion, Justin MacNeill, a full batch of the award-winning beer is finally ready to go. TKO (Tropical Knock Out) is a Pale Ale bursting with aromas and flavours of coconut, pineapple, mango and citrus fruits. Conditioned on toasted coconut and generously dry hopped with American and New Zealand hops, this beer will transport you back to summer even on the coldest night. TKO packs 50 lbs of toasted shredded coconut (thanks to Thyme & Again for helping us with the toasted part). The flavours are amazing, but we didn’t anticipate how much beer would be soaked up into the coconut. As a result, this beer won’t be available for very long.
