Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8
Tasted on tap at the brewpub/brewery. This pale ale pours a medium gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, floral hops and citrusy hops. A medium to full bodied pale ale. Malts are fruity and sweet, touch of caramel and orange. Hops are fairly aggressive, citrusy, grapefruity and floral. The rye adds a spiciness to the beer, and a fullness to the mouthfeel. This is one big aggressively hoppy beer. Nice soft carbonation. Very flavorful for a 4.5% beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
