e bring you a taste of Belgium with our newest summer creation, Nickel Brook Saison! This style originates from the farms of Belgium where it is served to refresh the workers as they toiled in the long, hot summer months in the fields. We ferment our Saison warm which gives rise to many distinct fruity aromas. The initial malt flavor gives way to crisp, dry finish with a lingering spiciness which is result of traditional European hops. The result is a remarkably smooth, refreshing beer that anyone can enjoy in the hot summer months whether it is on the patio, at the cottage or whenever you feel the need for a uniquely flavourful brew! No additives. No Preservatives. Naturally carbonated for a smooth, crisp finish.

The beer pours a hazed metallic gold colour with a creamy snow white head. The aroma is citrus, funk, grains, and yeast. the mouthfeel is medium odied with average carbonation. The flavour is citrus, light fruit, and grains.

At the Craft Beer fest in Ottawa with Chopz. Has a hazy light golden appearance. Dirty lacing. Aromas of tarty, citrus hops. Flavours are citrus and lemony hints. Also some mild spices. Has a tarty mouthfeel. Pretty good stuff and easy to drink.

Enjoyed at the National Capital Craft Beer Week with PaleAleRider. Advertised as "Amerillo Saison". Pours a cloudy golden colour with a white creamy head and wavy thick lacing. Beautiful nose with the hop giving out grassy and minty notes. Also, Belgian Ale yeast that make this one real fresh smelling. Same for flavours, but slightly milder. This is a great fresh tasting herbal Saison which I really enjoyed and wish I could buy for home.

On tap @ MCBE - Hazed pale gold with a 1 finger tight pored cap...champagne carbonation...aroma of noble hops, tart citrus, sweet cereal tones and spice. Flavour profile is spicy-dry with citrus and fruit tones then a fast, sharp peppery finish - great take on this Rural French ale.
