Pours a clear, dark amber with not much head - but the latter may be an artifact of the pour. Malty aroma has a fruity undertone and is not strong, but still invites a taste. Flavor - whoa, now that is good flavor. Malty core, apple plus more than a hint of pear, hint of horehound. Smooth and somewhat fizzy texture has more than average body. If this is not outstanding, it is still worthy of a try.

This brew was a great drinkability. It was a nice lightly hopped ale with a easy roasted malt flavor that was amazing. As far as it coming from NewCastle was a pleasent experience. It is easy on the palate and refreshing to drink I was very happy to ne able to have been allow to try it.

It pours a crystal clear copper body with a light amount of carbonation. The small white head only lasts about a minute and then dies. It leaves spotty yet foamy rings as the beer goes down. The smell is mainly the pale malts with some very faint fruitiness. The taste has a very light bitterness with the pale malts and the faint fruits coming back. There really isn't much going on with this beer. The mouthfeel is light-bodied and a bit watery with not a whole lot of carbonation. This is a pretty drinkable beer, but nothing to rush out and get.

Pours a caramel color. Smell is mild, some malts. Taste is a good balance of malts and hops. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Decent bitter from Newcastle, and just about what I was anticipating. Light copper body with a frothy white head and splotchy waves of lacing. Mildly sweet with some residual caramel and toast. Minor grassy & floral notes. Light bodied and balanced. It's OK.

I gotta stop buying 6-packs of these seasonals that I am not sure of, but that is the most economical way to go. This is not bad at all, just gets a little boring after a while. Already spring-beered out I guess. Better than the regular Newcastle Brown IMO. Probably better than the average spring beer. Says English Pale Ale here, but thought I saw on the bottle ESB, or at least represents in character. Not something I would get again, but worth the try since I had lots of Newcastles back in the day.

Kinda nice if indescript. Couldn't really tell what the style was. English pale works. Caramel and light earthy and spicy hops. Nothin special but easy to put down.

Copper color with a white head. Aroma contains some caramel and herbal aroma. Flavor is somewhat bitter but light with some caramel, dark fruits, citrus, and more herbal notes. Overall this a pretty decent session ale.

An orange tinged amber colored beer with a big frothy textured, white head rising robustly above. Good hang time. Settles into a thick ringlet and lacing. The nose is light, barely discernable grassiness and bread. The tastes copied are bolder, though still not in your face. Medium-thick and creamy.
