A New Glarus beer that I haven't tried yet... Until the PfoxyJohn presented this one to me, now available again after a long hiatus. Light pale golden yellow pour, tall fluffy white head featuring very heavy lacing. Light grassy German hopped aroma, lemongrass, light malts, clean and crisp - excellent Pilsner nose. Spot on flavor - crisp, clean, grassy, German hops presence, light bitter linger offset by a light sweetness. Most excellent and refreshing. Again, New Glarus doesn't disappoint. Great Pils. Thanks John.

Darker than your typical pils, golden brown with decent head and lacing. Aroma was seriously grassy. Flavor was strong grassy hops, some sweet pilsner malt, lots of carbonation to make this a solid brew. Thanks to eaglefan538 for sharing.

Bottle courtesy Bockyhorsey. Our was golde with a bit of amber hues mixed in there, nice initial white head, changes to thin covering, ring around the edge, spotty lacing. The aroma was herbal, grassy, grainy, wheaty bite? The flavor followed the aroma, a touch of mintiness in there too. A lot going on in this one, despite it being just a "blonde" ale. Mouthfeel wasn't bad, full for a blonde.

Wow. All those that live in Wisconsin and the surrounding states really have it good. New Glarus is a phenomenal brewery and this is a excellent beer. An aroma of grassy hops, fruity malts and a touch of hay. Appearance is damned near perfect. A deep honey golden yellow, champagne like carbonation bubbles and a nice one finger thick head. Mouthfeel is both smooth and lively at the same time. Flavor is more of the fruity malts, hay a touch spicy on the finish with a nice grassy hop bite. Excellent beer. Sad that I don't have another though.

This pale lager pours a yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied pale lager. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and spicy. It has the pale lager crispness and sweet, but lacks that adjunct flavors so common in most of these beer. Its light and crisp, yet it has a whole lot of flavor. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and spicy

Bottle courtesy from Monger: Poured a bright gold yellow color beer with a nice big pure white foamy head with good retention and good lacing. Aroma of floral malt with some dry crisp hops is quite enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by some floral malt with some light sweet notes and a medium dry crisp finish which is quite enjoyable. Body is full for the style with some good carbonation. Another very good beer from a great brewer from a style that produce too much crap IMO.

This one was alright. It had a little sweetness or fruitiness that I like in an Ale, but it also had a nice balance of hops and malt to give it a firm flavor combination.

pours a bright golden colour with a foamy white head. Lacing that is left behind is scattered. Aroma carries peach, apricot and pineapple notes. Taste is clean and refreshing. Flavors of grass, honey and hops.
