Nice copper color, some malt aroma, small phenol level present, a slight citric nose also present, not much fruitiness to it, slight spice character, hardly noticeable, maltiness never really jumps out at you but it is distinguishable to the palate, moderate body, smooth medium carbonation, a drinkable beer for the season, some spice to accent spicy food, nice

A murky amber colored beer with a big frothy textured light beige-white head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. There's some light film and a moderate ringlet is left. A light grassy, grainy nose. More of the same with a sessionable bitter citrus. Light and easy to drink.

I had low expectations of this, based on the last few seasonals that I tried from New Belgium...especially the spring/summer ones. This is actually one of the better ones from them. A blonde ale with a gold-amber appearance. Thought it was a lager....tastes sort of like a pilsner....listed as a blonde ale. Sounds about right. Bottles says brewed with pecan juice which gives it some extra flavor. Reminded me of a lighter version of Lazy Magnolias Southern Pecan. Sampled a single for now, but I'd get a 12-pack of this in the summer.

This may be the weakest Belgian Ale I have ever tried. 4.2% is breakfast for a Belgian. A very weak tripel like aroma with spices and citrus to go along with a weak golden colour. Just a total wash of a beer.

A golden appearance with an off white head. The aroma is rather spicy with a strong lemon presence. The flavor is rather sour with a strange funk to it. I taste lemons, limes, and spices. The palate is rather watery on this one. Overall nothing to see here.

Little to no aroma, with a one-finger head and decent lacing. Light-bodied; clean, balanced flavor of slightly bitter hops and malt, and no aftertaste.

On tap @ Moondollars Cafe. Pours a clear amber with a short-lived head but very nice lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas are of sweet and floral hops and a touch of malt. Taste is clean and a bit more floral than expected but nice with a slight dry hops finish - a good summer beer.

A nice amber pour with a decent head. Minimal lacing on the glass, hop and citrus aromas and the same thing goes for the taste of this beer. A lighter tasting beer, but satisfying.

This brew poured a medium golden amber color. Fair carbonation with a small head that left a thin lace. Pleasant hop aroma with a hint of citrus. The flavor is slightly citrus with a bit of bitter-sweet chocolate and caramel finish. Well-balanced. Very drinkable and only 110 calories?

i consider myself a supporter and fan of New Belgium but this beer is a little below my expectations. It pours a mid to deep yellow body, not much carbonation leads to a small head. Aroma of citrus and malts. Mouthfeel is average, and flavor is rather bland with a hint of lime. Overall it was worth a try but N.B has so many better beers i probably wont try it again.
