This strong golden ale is light in color, with moderate body and a crisp finish. Saaz and Styrian Golding hops offer a distinctive Nobel hop aroma. A Belgian yeast strain produces banana and clove notes for a remarkably crisp flavor profile. Belgian Blond is delightfully inviting and approachable with a decidedly adult 8.5% alcohol content. ABV 8.5% IBU 30 Hops/spicing: Saaz and Styrian Golding hops

Not bad not bad! Poured out of the bottle a vibrant golden with lots and lotsa bubbles. Aroma was instantly floral, wheaty and sortof citrus like. I normally would never find myself drinking blondes, so this I found to be a bit more agressive than most I've had and more enjoyable.

Sampled on 10/8/2010. This Belgian Strong Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head with nice retention and good lacing. The aroma is orange, fruity, banana and clove. A medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, with some cereal, banana and clove, with a touch of honey and candy sugar. The hops are floral and earthy. Decent carbonation. A touch dry at the finish for all that sweetness. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

22 oz bottle -
Aroma - sweet cereal-like grains, light dough/biscuit, pear juice...loving the floral character of this beer.
Appearance - golden yellow body, crystal clear with a pillowy white 3" head
Taste - lots of dried fruits, table grapes, light spice and medium alcohol
Palate - lots of carbonation in this, prickly mouthfeel like your tongue’s falling asleep
Overall - a nice golden BSA. I think if I had a choice, I’d go with Duvel though. -

He's not reading the paper!! .. Great white firm foam, lacing is outstanding! .. . two more K's and I'm outta here .. . very alcohol apparent, like lemon zest but without the lemon, and without the fun .. . honestly, quite hard to drink, borderline horrid.. . not what anyone would expect from the Lips series, but this was bad in alot of ways, a waste of money, and just a badly constructed beer.. sorry NB but you carlos mencia'd this... . today was a good day, Donovan in added time to sink Algeria to get to the knockout stages in the WC, a good day hangin with Scoobs, but this beer still sucks..

22 oz bottle. Pours a clear light yellow with a big rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is slightly metallic and vegetal malts with some Saaz and Noble hops and some musty yeast.
The flavor is sweet malts with some noble hops in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lots of carbonation.
Overall, tastes a lot like a subpar, strong, overly sweet pilsener. Not my cup of tea.
