Pours a slightly hazy amber with a fairly thick, if not too persistent, pale buff head. Hoppy aroma has a strong dry hay component and a resin undertone and, yes, subtle floral and herb notes. Flavor is quite woody, with notes of hay and herbs and a subtle floral tone, like drinking a bouquet of fresh flowers. Lively texture is fairly fizzy and rough, leaving an herbal and greenwood finish. Pick one today.

Sampled on 8/7/2014. This India Pale Ale pours a slightly cloudy medium yellow orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is floral, citrusy, with some orange, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy, orange and floral. Medium bitterness IPA, that lasts a good while in the aftertaste. Nice carbonation, lots and lots of small bubbles. Ann interesting hop, not sure if I have ever tried this one before. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter.

Appearance is hazy orange with thin white head and a bit of lacing. Nose is heavy on lemon zest and grapefruit. Notes of mango and sweet fruit also present. Taste is fruity up front with a considerable amount of sweetness. Hops are fruity with some firm bitterness to follow. The flavor starts off very light and gains flavor towards the finish. Not a whole lot in the way of malt profile here. Mouthfeel is light with moderate to high carbonation. Overall, not a standout brew but decent enough flavors here.

My first encounter with the aramis hops. It brings a cool dryness like I've never tasted. More earth and pepper than flowers or fruit. Enjoyed the aromatics and flavor as well as the effervescent, medium body.

Golden copper hazy pour, white head, nice lacing. Citrus, floral and earthy hops aroma and flavor upfront, lemongrass and light pine, oranges, then a good malt presence to offset the hops. Fairly clean and refreshing.

Hazy dark gold pour with a frothy white head. Very flowery aroma with some earthy and bready notes. Medium bitterness is almost overshadowed by the bready, biscuity malt taste. I enjoyed the uniqueness--nice to see something different in the IPA world.

Bomber from Pt Roberts (WA) Marketplace. Clear pour, orangey gold in hue, under a rocky white head. Malt and hops in the aroma, along with a floral component. Flavour had notes of tropical fruit, plus the hops. Rich mouthfeel, almost buttery. Tart finish.

Very floral, with an earthy aspect and a little spice. Less citrus and pine than the usual ipas/iipas, but I really dug this one. Went down easy for the abv and my nose kept returning to the glass.

22 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with a medium creamy white head that retains fairly well and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is fruity flowery piney hops with some biscuity malts.
The flavor is biscuity earthy malts with some fruity floral hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, an interesting hop for an IPA. I don't like the biscuit malt in the backbone. The hops are a bit too floral for me but interesting.
