500 ml swing-top bottle. Poured a clear and red-copper coloured Heller Bock with a one finger beige and creamy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is sweety malts, notes of caramel, vegetables, green olives, a touch of herbs and barnyard. The flavour is sweety light roasted and caramel malts, bready, biscuits, toffee, brown sugar. The mouthfeel is light crispy, syrupy and a bit sticky. The texture is oily. This medium to full bodied Heller Bock has a dry marked sweety-sugary finish. This Gregori Bock, from the franconian Neder brewery is not bad but too - too sweety for me.
