In cottage country, stopping for creamy, decadent ice cream is as traditional as cracking open a cold brew. So it only makes sense to bring the two together by teaming up with Kawartha Dairy to create this robust, chocolately-bock-style beer infused with salted caramel. To celebrate this collaboration, Muskoka Brewery and Kawartha Dairy are joining forces to support ongoing local community improvement projects.

Pours a slight hazed copper-brown colour with a purple-red highlight. The head is mocha-coloured but ends quickly, fizzing away, leaving a ring around the collar. Smells nice at first pour, but then goes into something quite weird. After breathing a bit, does show the truffle part with the chocolate notes and caramel in the back, with hints of salt. Some nuttiness and mild coffee also show up. Flavours are a bit all over the place with the roasted, chocolate malts, nuts, coffee... but not much caramel and saltiness. Alright and nice to try.
