A beer made popular by porters and dock workers of the 18th century, our incredibly easy drinking porter boasts notes of roasted marshmallow, dark chocolate and a faint background of wood smoke. In our opinion, this somewhat forgotten style's resurrection was long overdue.

Pours a dark brown colour with copper see-through highlights. The head is light mocha-coloured, frothy but also kind of creamy, very long lasting and leaving some thick creamy lacing. Roasted malt aromas with some notes of chocolate, coffee and hints of dark fruits. The taste is lots of coffee with some nuttiness. It's quite nice actually !
