Had a pint of this one at the brewpub a couple weekends ago after a trip to Full Sail. Nearly black with not a whole lot of tan head but good lacing. It has a lightly smoked roasted malt aroma. I was expecting more smoke. Medium body is pretty smooth but not enjoyable because it isn't very carbonated. Decent roasted malt flavor and some hop bitterness comes out at the end with hints of smoke. It's a quality beer with pretty good flavor, but not worth going out of your way for. I don't think of this beer as a true smoked beer.

Served in the Imperial pint glass at Kell’s Pub in Portland. What I can make out in the dimlight, thisnis a nice darkbrown almost mahogany coloured ale with a smallish creamy tan head. I could not make out much aroma, just some maltiness , I think It was sderved too cold, or maybe the Lebanese food I ate earlier interfered. This was a very enjoyable porter thout a little unusual in the flavour , it has all the coffee/ dark chocolate flavours expected but also a rather sharp fruity undertaste, which was good, also you can get a little hop bite near the end of the mouthful. Very nice and quite smooth on the palate. A nice drinkable beer ( had 3 pints in quick order).
