Exciting and provocative, India Pale Ale provides a stimulating assault on all senses. Our version of the IPA style possesses a deep golden hue that neatly winks at you from the glass. Extremely full bodied, its rich flavor wraps your tongue in a lush blanket of sweet malt with a spicy hop finish. Two hop varieties in the dry hopping provide an enticing floral bouquet, with notes of resin and herbs, creating a delightfully quaffable and refreshing ale we're sure you'll love!

Definitely not my favorite Moylan’s beer to date and seemed to be outdone by it’s little brother Tipperary. The aroma seemed rather light on the hops, but what I could get was some grapefruit and a showing of old caramel malts. Flavor was mildly sweet, veggie-like bitterness with a puckering like bitterness. No doubt an older bottle I think, so I will re-rate once a fresher bottle can be found. Should be easy enough.

From Firefly. $7 was a bit much for this one, but whatever, I needed a new IPA. Poured the mandatory cloudy copper body underneath a smallish ivory head. Aroma was mostly hops, along with some pleasing grassy notes. Flavour was pure hop, along with a good bite to the mouth. The finish suggested at more malt sweetness than I'd expected.

Kinda disappointed with this one. Pours a copper-orange with medium white head. Aroma is surprisingly weak for a west coast IPA--some citrusy hops but more spice noticeable. Although there is some malt presence, taste is just bitter without much else.

22 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden orange with a creamy white head that quickly diminishes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet melon, leather and some peppery hops.
The flavor is sweet caramel malts, some melon and a lot of peppery, tarry bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a decent IPA with a good amount of bitterness. The hop flavors weren't up my alley - too tarry and charred. -

pales in comparison to it's older brother, the massive Moylander, but it's a pretty solid effort and fits the style of a west coast ipa well. there are better, but this one is worth a drink.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy amber colour with a low rocky lasting white foam. Almost soliely hops in the aroma of resin, grapefruit and gras ith a wee hint of peaches. Medium-bodied with strong hoppy notes of grapefruit, grass, and resin with touches of caramel and nectarines. Long really bitter finish of grapefruit-rind, grass and dry spices

Pours a bright copper color. Nice lacing. Very hoppy with citrus and piney overtones. Somewhat oily and resiny (not a bad thing). A bit sweet on the taste buds early, which compliments the long lasting and bitter finish. A somewhat underrated, but fine IPA. A value for the price. Recommended.

A nice IPA. About what I expected from Moylan. Aroma is a mild hoppy flavor. Appearance is medium orange with thick head. Mouthfeel is smooth with a light bitter taste.

Borderline average IPA, I was not overly impressed. Bitter aroma with some grapefruit present. Nice dark orange pour, solid white head and lots of lacing. Mouthfeel is sticky, watery, and awkward. Finish is thin and bitter. Flavor has a nice grapefruit citrus presence mixed in with some spicy pine, but then halfway through the swallow there is a weird metallic tinge. Far better IPA's can be obtained and for the same price I can get a bomber of Stone so I will not seek this one out again.

this is a decent brew. There is a surprising malt taste in this beer, its a little less than the hops, but it is close. It's not as harsh as other IPA's. It is decently good though. the color is Dark gold and the head and lace is really is pretty thick. the aroma is a complex mix of hops and roasted malts. a decent brew.
