I had this one while eating at Moose's Tooth Pizzeria the other night on a trip to Anchorage, AK. The first beer I picked off the list was their maibock. I haven't had a maibock in a while, so I was very excited to find this one on the draught list. I must say that I was pretty impressed.

The beer was served by the waiter in a pint glass. It was a mostly clear, brown brew with a slight white head on it. The aroma when I first smelt it was almost grassy and stuck around until I was done drinking it.

The beer was smooth, malty, and had a sweetness to it that was warm and enjoyable. After your initial taste, the beer had this hint of tartness to it on the back end.

Bottom line, I really liked this one a lot. It was flavorful, refreshing, and smooth drinking. An excellent job was done on crafting this brew and I highly recommend this one to others.
