Pours a crystal clear dark amber with not much of a head and it goes away quickly. Minimal Carbonation with this bock. Very little lacing. Aroma has a slightly cola like fizz to it with hints of spice. Taste is creamy with sour hints to it. Slight chocolate taste to it. Not much to see here move along.

Pours a dark brownish black, partly clear. Aroma is malty, slightly nutty with some alcohol on the nose. Taste is smooth, slightly metallicy but barely noticeable. Pleasent. Some soft tobacco. I would almost describe this beer as being rustic.

not a huge fan of bocks but this was fairly decent. Aroma and flavors of caramel malt, and chocolate. Mouthfeel was kinda watery, smooth with a dry finish

Bottled, thanks heemer77. Dark brown colour, small brown head. Chocolate in aroma and malts in aroma. Roasted chocolate in flavour, the finnish becomes a bit chocolateish. A bit thin, but hell, this is good.

Reddish brown color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and sweet.A medium bodied bock. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are slightly spicy. There is a residual sourness/tartness that sort of dominates everything else in this beer. The finish is surprisingly dry. The dryness and the unexpected sourness (is it supposed to be there? Or is the beer infected?) make this an interesting and very different bock beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and a little sour.

Nice bright red color with little head. Has a watered down flavor. A slight chocolate and a little malt flavoring. Overall, this is smooth, but nothing to rave about.

Pretty good, but think I had a off bottle. Kind of sour. Chocolate flavor. Not bad. Cloudy brown in color.

Poured a lightly hazy, reddish brown color with a small off white head. Chocolate, roasted, nutty, caramel malt aroma. This is starting to remind me of Sam Adams Chocolate Bock. More chocolate, nuts, tobacco, and roast in the taste. Almost identical to the above mentioned Choc. Bock, though this had more bitterness, and less of the milk chocolate creaminess.

Pours an effervescent shade of crimson, seems a little too light for a bock. Strong chocolate notes in the taste, I agree that it seems a little watered down. Decent enough, though. Not bad for a porter, even though mr. tomness thought it was alright
