Thanks to Brian for bringing this one back (amongst many others). While wit’s aren’t my favorite, a good one can go a long way to brightening an otherwise gloomy California day. The aroma has some nice things going for it, gloves, a bit of yeast, coriander (and ko’mander...heh) with a good dose of citrus and wheat. Flavor has the unmistakeable lemony/orange citrus thing which blends well with the wheat and a bit of banana that shows up. Finish is very smooth and crisp. Very nice.

Sampled from bottle: pours a nice cloudy golden colour with a big fluffy white head initially, but it quickly fades into a nothingness. Aroma has bananna, spices and orange peel. Taste is pleasent and creamy. Not too spicey- not trying to overdue it and doing it well. tropical fruit notes with a pleasent yeastiness underlying the bier. Great job!

It pours a apricot colored body, head and lace almost non existent. Aroma of coriander, wheat, and spice. Mouthfeel was a little thin, flavor of wheat with a coriander and spicy dry finish. Overall it was a pretty good wit. Thanks to my cousin and uncle who sent it to me.

I really love this beer. My wife bought me a six pack of it just because we love John's Grocery store. We both tried it and it has become one of our favorites. A great citrus aroma and smooth finish. I highly recommend this beer.

Bottle courtesy of eaglefan538 with half the label gone, so I had no idea what I was drinking (Johns somethingation Ale). Pour was pale yellow, very little head, no lacing. Wheaty aroma with spices, notably coriander. Flavor was solid wit base with a good level of sweetness and spices. Rich full flavor, solid effort.

Bottle courtesy Sledge Jr. Poured a cloudy golden type color. The aroma was right on for a wit, coriander, wheaty, light touch of citrus. The flavor was comparable although there was a touch of soapy/floral notes also present. Overall, a nice example of the style and a decent second to last beer of the day of multiple new states on the resume. Thanks, Todd, for saving me a trip into rural Western Iowa for this one!

one of my favorite white brews. Coriander and orange peel are definately present. Has a pleasant tang to it- reminiscent of a wheat beer. Very refreshing, great for the summer. crisp and clean finish.

Poured a golden color with a small head, had a slight sour aroma, my brother in law brought several beers from a family reunion, it is not unpleasant but not my favorite, but does become more acceptible as it is consumed, other reported cloudy beer this was clear.

This wit pours a cloudy light yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet with coriander and orange. A medium to light bodied wit. Malts are fruity and citrusy. Lots of orange flavors, with the usual coriander and clove spiciness, The hops are floral and somewhat strong for a wit. Light and refreshing. Yeasty, sweet and slightly spicy. A nice summer beer, that has some flavor and complexity going on. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
