Storm is October's beer of the month and it is creating a storm on tap at the Mildura Brewery Pub. Come and try this new beer which is based on the popular American Pale Ale, modified to suit Australian tastes. The cloudiness of the beer is a result of deliberately leaving some of the healthy living yeast in the beer to continue to work and keep the beer in top condition. Storm is a full strength beer, at 4.5% alcohol by volume, and is an orangey amber, darker than Desert Premium but lighter than Mallee Bull. For a limited time and only at the Mildura Brewery Pub.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Tight head, subsides to thin layer, some lace Gold to honey colour. Maybe the slightest of haze..wouldn't call it cloudy, though... Tropical fruity aroma, little malt noticeable on the nose....it reminds me of the truism that Europeans describe American hops as "cat's piss"... But that's the hops, not a brewing fault. It actually reminds me of NZ sauv blanc in a way, so that ain't bad.... Pawpaw, pineapple flavour, with some citrus tang, light touch of caramel. Reasonable mouthfeel, nice bitter at the back.
