At Mikkeller we believe that it is among the inventive amateurs that the wildest beers are being brewed and it is precisely those brewers that we like to work with. That is why we have a competition each year to test who can brew the most intense hop bomb. This year, Søren Davids won that competition. This beer is brewed as a collaboration between Søren Davids and Mikkeller.

Bought in Edmonton at Wine and Beyond. Quite a good brew, dark straw yellow colour. Peachy hops, medium mouthfeel and smacked in the face bitter. Reminds me of Garrisons Imperial IPA, just crazy crazy bitter. Some earthy and slightly grassy notes. Bitter.

Hazy honey brown bordering on goldish, limited white crown was produced during the pour. Nice peachy hops with a ruby red grape fruit finish in the nose. Malts are there and sweet but very mild. Highly drinkable, light fresh taste, bitter finish. Fuzzy peach, mild strange sour, caramel toasty malts. This is insanely good for a home brew winning recipe. Mild floral flavour, some dirt. Simple high quality stuff.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, some fruits, grass and quite much bitterness as well. Flavour is grass, fruits and some floral notes. Mild caramel as well as some toffeeish notes as well. Pleasant flavour, but the aroma is not too nice.
