En amerikansk inspireret påskebryg med et flot hvidt skum, en lys ravfarve og en fyldig maltprofil. Gavmildt humlet af brygmesterens kærlige hånd. Påskebryggen kan nydes for sig selv, men vil komplementere ethvert dansk påskebord med sild og krydrede retter.

    500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 6.8%. Deep golden colour, large white head. Aroma of butterscotch, caramel and fudge.The flavour has lots of butterscotch, probably some caramel malts but also diacetyl? Medium sweet, with moderate hops for balance. As they say the beer is "American inspired", it probably means that the hops are American, but the hops sure don’t dominate. And I doubt that American beer geeks would be very happy about the diacetyl ... Well, I for one do not get automatically hysterical when I detect butterscotch in beer, so I find Midtfyns Påskebryg quite drinkable. But as there are better beers available on the Norwegian market now, this is probably not one I’ll buy again.
