Pours a thick frothy off-white head and has a golden amber appearance, almost coppery. Nice thick enough lacing. Aromas are earthy hops, spices as well as bready and toasty malts. Flavours have a nice balance of hoppiness and bitterness. Big orangey and citrusy notes, but also quite malty with breads and hints of caramel even. Somewhat yeasty also. Quite bitter on the palate, sort of an astringent mouthfeel. For higher abv, goes down very well.

Slight opaque dark orange, tan lasting lacing foam. Strong hoppy aroma, even more bitter in taste. Light sunflower and coffee notes. Good beer, thanks Jan. (Velp 201507)

Pours a hazy deep amber colour with a creamy-bubbly off-white head that has great retention and beautiful lacing. The nose is really not what I expected. Lots of cereal grain and hints of nuts. The taste is where the hops appear, and even that is not as grassy as expected. Metallic notes, but not as bad as most beers that have this. Good bitterness that lingers. Is this really 9.2% ?? Goes down too smoothly. Different than most DIPA, and not in a bad way.

The beer pours a hazed reddish gold colour with a thin bubbly off-white head. The aroma is citrus, grass, and tropical fruit. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grapefruit, oranges, caramel, and grass. -

Copper colour pour with a thin big bubbled head. Very little lacing. sweet fruity aroma. Dirt flavour. Grass, grapefruit floral and sweet malts. Quite bitter. Almost medium mouthfeel. I was disappointed in this beer.

I dig the sweetness and the fruit in the nose and the flavor. It is a little too malt heavy for my liking but for a malt heavy double it's quite nice and easy to drink. Medium bodied and slightly sticky. A bit dark for anything called a pale.

500 ml capped bottle. Poured an unfiltered and hazy burgundy-brown coloured DIPA with a good one finger beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. Many, big, floating sediments. The aroma is roasted malts, caramel notes, red and riped fruits, vinous notes, deep resinous hops and a pronounced alcoholic feeling. The flavour is roasted malts, red candied fruits, straw- and other berries, flowery, roses, intense flowery and resinous hops. The mouthfeel is fulled, thick and a bit sticky. This full bodied DIPA has a lingering fruity and hoppy bitter finish and a light warming effect. This tasteful DIPA offered kinds moments of simply happiness. I like it.

Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a small frothy white foam. Rich aroma of apricots, grapefruit, resin and grass with hints of blood oranges and butter. Nearly full-bodied with notes of grapefruit, red oranges, ink and grass with sweetish undertones of spunned sugar and apricots. Huge bitter inky finish of grapefruit and grass with a dense sweetish backbone of red oranges and butter(!).

500 ml bottle, now available in Norway (Vinmonopolet). ABV is 9.2%. Copper coloured beer, decent off-white head. Strong and very nice aroma of fruity American hops, some hints of spices of too. The flavour is first malty and slightly sugary sweet with notes of caramel, then an intense harsh and overwhelming bitterness takes over. Overkill, too bitter and harsh for me.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is hops, grass, fruits with some mild nectary and dry wooden notes. Flavour is very much the same in a good balance. Easy to drink and hides the alcohol totally.
