    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

500 ml capped bottle. Poured in an Upper Franconian Seidla a clear and old-reddish-copper coloured F B with a two fingers light beige, fine and soapy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles and some bigger one. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted caramel malts, coffee beans, burnt notes, dried fruits, burnt nuts. The flavour is heavy burnt grainy malts, ashes, brown sugar, dried fruits, dates, raisins and a late emerging, rare, cooked fish feel (!). The mouthfeel is quite thin and round. The texture is oily. This light to medium bodied F B has a long burnt malts and sugary finish. This Meister Festbier, brewed in Upper Franconia, is surely not " the " best one, but it shows character and " Geschmack ". I enjoyed it.
