330 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Meantime stemmed glass an unfiltered opaque amber-orange coloured Weizen with a short one finger slight beige foamy head that had a mid-sized retention. Soft carbonation. No lacing. Some floating sediments. The aroma is fruity, bananas, faint citrus, wheaty malts and spicy, cloves. The flavour is wheaty grainy malts, fruity, faint bananas, notes of pineapples (!).The mouthfeel is sparkling and surprising quite thin. This light to medium bodied Hefeweizen has a dry wheaty malty and fruity finish. A decent Wheat. On the German Weizenbier way ? May be ... but only on the road !

330 ml bottle, as Meantime Wheat, from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. ABV is 5.0%. Cloudy golden colour, huge and lasting white head. Spicy aroma, notes of cloves and dust, hints of banana. Citrussy / lemony flavour, bordering on "sour", just a hint of cloves. No detectable hops. Sorry, but the Germans do this better.

Draught@Brew Wharf, Southwark, London. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat mixed in a lager. Sadly, the same goes for the flavour, so I didn’t find the beer pleasant at all.
