Max Mai Bock is a traditional spring lager, often referred to as a Helles or Pale Bock. It has a full, rich body and a deep golden color. It's smooth toasted malt character gives way to a slight sweetness and a delicate noble hop finish.

Medium amber, edging on copper with a lovely bubbling soup of a head. The body is not quite perfectly clear, but the hazing is only slight. Great lacing. Slightly hoppy on the nose. There is a surprising burst of malt up front on the flavor, but it fades to a nicely balanced lager after a few sips. Nice and clean without being bland, but not as crisp as some.
