A very refreshing Raspberry Wheat Ale that easy drinking on those hot summer days. This beer is technically a fruit beer but don’t let that category fool you. It starts with the aroma where there is a subtle hint of raspberry in the nose. Upon tasting it you will quickly notice the wonderful wheat flavors which is finished again with the hint of raspberry flavors. Rubus is the genus name for raspberry and nectar…well that is just the sweet juice that will taste when you try our beer!

Released 05-10-2011 - shared a growler with Chris, owner of Bearden Beer Market last week. Light straw yellow pour with a bubbly white head and ample lacing. Tart lemon-like aroma upfront then subtle raspberries and fruit, with some light earthy yeasts and very light hops. Taste is tart then sweet, with the raspberry then light lemons upfront, then lightly sweet and little hops bitter or linger. Super refreshing and damn glad to FINALLY get a Marble City beer. Good summer beer.
