This is our humble offering to the city that we love. A beer that is who we are, where we are, and what we are. Maine malts, American hops, gentle bitterness and a snappy hop finish that keeps you company long after you put it down. Ask anyone in Portland, Mainer or “from away” about Maine weather and you’ll get a predictable answer about its unpredictability. Mild days elliptically appear up among the more extremes of summer, and winter. Storms roll in from the sea and from down the Mountains. Seemingly all four seasons in a day, at times. We decided our flagship beer should be something steady, repeatable in all climates, and of course, delicious. While the modern beer drinker’s palate has grown with the explorative, creativeness of the brewing industry, we wanted to hone in on a beer that would be a perfect fit for the cooler, the fridge, the old garage fridge as well as on draft. While Maine weather, and life itself can be erratic, we found solace and stability in our flagship beer. We opened our doors in East Bayside circa 2016 with one beer in mind, Portland Pale Ale. PPA is a crisp American Pale brewed with Maine malt and hand selected hops. It’s pale golden body lends to a quaffable, beautiful drinking beer well suited for any time. Our first beer, and the closest beer to our hearts. Welcome to Portland, have a pale.
