Slightly cloudy and golden with some particulate matter. Very thin short-lived white head and a very light malty nose. Balance is OK; the initial light malt flavor yields to a mild hop finish. Better than an ordinary American pale lager but still not a great version of a Munich Helles.

Pours a hazy pale amber with very little head. It’s actually a little low on carbonation to start with. Mildly malty aroma. Slight grassiness. The flavor is mostly malt, but definitely watery. Finish is a lingering finish. Not bad, but doesn’t really seem a very graceful lager.
