Had this one in Austin, TX, on my trip in January 2020. Clean golden-amber colour with a small beige head, minimal lacing. Caramel nose and light warming alcohol, hints of apples. Same for the taste with a touch of hops in the finish. A little sweet, rich, but not too thick.

Big bark pours a mid amber body with minimal carbonation or head. Aroma of malt, slight fruit hints. Flavor was similar with hints of apple. Overall it was ok and worth a try.

Beers that appeal to "everyone" seldom appeal to me. That kind of advertisement reeks of Anheuser-Busch. Still, I was stuck with few choices at Cricket's recently (a rarity, by the way; they proudly advertise 100 beers on tap, but every request I made was met with "We're out right now"), so I gave this a go. Hmm. Pretty standard stuff. Malty enough, and a little hops presence to keep my interested. Like most of Live Oak's beers I've had so far: drinkable if not memorable. What the heck--I'd recommend it...at least once.

Pours a orangeish-brown-gold wit no head. Aroma is sweet malt and fruit. Flavor is fruity (apples) and tangy. Smooth, thin and mildly carbonated.

Sampled on draft at the Ginger Man, Austin. pours a clear amber with a minimal, off-white head and scattered lacing. Not attractive. The aroma was non-offensive and pretty much non-existant. Perhaps "clean" could describe it best. The flavor was balanced and had hints of pears and sour green apples. Whatever.
