Long before hops were common in most beers, various fruits and herbs were used to season beers. The clean, bright aroma and flavor of apples melds beautifully with the complex tartness of lambic. Smooth, light body with the fresh flavor of real apples and a light green-apple tartness. Color: Glowing Gold. Taste: Perfect with rich cream sauces, hearty soups, aromatic cheeses and spicy cuisine - supremely refreshing. Serve in flute-shaped Lambic glasses at 38-41 degrees F.

April 2018: 375 ml capped & corked green bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 3.5%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of apples and artificial "apple" candy. Very sweet flavour, apples and apple candy galore. I'd prefer a decent cider, if you please. Might be better with ice cubes. Won't buy again.

Had as Pomme Lambic. Aroma is strong, rich and fruity, rather sweet, more like a cider than a beer. It pours a clear, bubbly straw yellow with a thick white head. Flavor is quite lip-smacking, fruity and sweet like a cider but having subtle hints of hops and malt. Sure could mistake this for a cider, though - but it’s still a satisfying beverage, and that’s what matters. Texture is smooth, lively and fizzy, leaving behind a nice sour apple finish.

Tastes like apples for sure, smells like them too. Very sweet, almost too much, you need some flavor variety to get through these, try them all together and at the bar(n) if you have the chance.

Hazy golden yellow with small lacing white foam head. Aroma is sour apples. So is taste, which is of course not surprising. Aftertaste is fresh, long and apples again. (Velp 201307)

pours perfectly clear light amber color, like a high quality apple juice, the bubbles danced up the glass with a light golden head. The aroma was of sweet apples with no offputting undertones whatsoever. The taste did an amazing job of keeping the apple flavor while mixing it with subtle other fruity flavors. The mouthfeel is super smooth and drinkable with the perfect amount of carbonation. This is the best of the Lindeman's line.

Yellow body, o.k. carbonation. The thin head leaves some spotty lace. Aromas and flavors of tart green apples and just a touch of earthy funk. Overall if you like green aplles thi will be o.k. for you

Golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head reduced to a ring. Little to no lacing although much carbonation. Sweet and tart Granny Smith and Winesap apple aroma with just a little barnyard funk hiding in the background - like a strong cider. Taste is also tart and sweet apple, a touch of honey, some yeasts, very slight funk. Very tasty, very apple.

An interesting mix - sweet and sour, malt and floral. Aroma is somewhat lacking, but the tart apple goodness makes up for that fault. Makes a good light dessert beverage or should go well with a light summer meal.

Tough one here. Light golden yellow pour with a fair amount of lace with a large amount of carbonation. The flavor resembled bitter apples with almost a champagne aftertaste. Couldn't tell if I liked this.

Gold brew with the slightest of hazy and a really good white head. Strong "apple drink" smell, a bit of toilet, honey bread, light spice, interesting aroma that is quite fragrant. Mulled apple flavours, clovey apple cider, yeasty and tart. Tasty but too much like an apple cider. Very drinkable. Finishes with a thick sourness.
