Long before hops were common in most beers, various fruits and vegetables were used to season beers. The acidity of Lambic beers blends perfectly with raspberries. Taste: Magnificent aroma, delicate palate of raspberries with undertones of fruity acidity; elegant, sparkling clean natural taste. Style: Raspberry Lambic. Color: Rose. Serving suggestions: Chocolate desserts (especially chocolate decadence), fresh raspberries, ice cream with a raspberry demi-glaze sauce, créme caramel, baked Alaska, Olympia oysters, caviar. Serve in flute-shaped Lambic glasses at 45 degrees.

Had this Dessert beverage with a slice of cheese cake. Pours a deep ruby red with a thick pink head. Has moderate carbonation. Smells very sweet, crisp. Tastes very fruity, sweet raspberry's.

12oz thick green bottle picked up at the state store
Dark grape color with a small pink/red head and some lacing. Aroma of raspberries, sugar and plastic. The taste reminds me of raspberries cough syrup
Decent, a little to sweet for me to enjoy though. -

On tap at Mellow Mushroom in Tampa. Pours bright ruby red with weak white head. The aroma is pungent with sweet sugary candied raspberries and cherries with a meek background of sugar tart candy. Man, this smells sweet. The taste is a load of sugar sweet raspberry and sweet cane sugar. I get a faint fruit tartness in the background. Basically tastes like over sweetened syrupy soda.

My first lambic, couldn’t wait to get it home to try it, for some reason my mouth was watering. Nifty 12 oz bottle with a red tinfoil top hat. Cost was $8 at the beer store in Moon Twp. Bottle has letters embossed in it. Popped the lid with my bottle opener and there is a cork in there too, blast!. Is this a wine? With wine bottle opener it pops and has a little fruit berry aroma. Closer sniff yields a powerful pleasing fruit freshness. Pours thickly reddish cloudy purple creamy in my steeler stein, the best looking beer I’ve seen. Head is small, gorgeous and creamy looking, I want to touch it. The fizzy sound is great too! The initial flavor is unbelievable great. This can’t be a beer, it is better than champagnes and american raspberry ciders I’ve tasted, same level. The palate is pleasing with its perfect carbonation and creamyness on the back of the tongue without prickly bite. Finish is really good too! No bitterness and at the same time not overly sweet. I could drink these all day and because of the 2.5% alcohol , I would if it didn’t cost so much. I just don’t know how a beer rater could like this and IPA/bitter stouts at the same time. This lambic is the antonym of IPA.

Bottle: Poured a dark ruby red with a light red thin head. Aroma was of pure raspbeeries. Flavor is a little weird it is definetly sweet raspberries, but also a tangy bitter carbonation taste.

Pours a hazy red colour with a foamy pink head, great retention and lacing. Raspberry aromas with some Belgian Ale yeast. The taste shows more the fruit with its sweetness, tartiness and sourness. Not too sweet though, to be too rich to drink. A very nice Belgian fruit brew for such a low alcohol content.

I believe this to be my first Lambic. Poured a nice light red, with a tight top. Aromas are very much raspberry. Seemed more tart than i was used to. Had a nice flavor to it.

Pours a big frothy pinkish head and has a burgundy like colour with ruby highlights for appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas are noticeably fruity, raspberries for sure, faint hints of dark type fruits like cherries. Some yeasty notes as well. Quite fruitful flavours with raspberries the main draw for sure. Fairly sweet and has slight sour notes. Full bodied mouthfeel.

A beautiful reddish brown with a nice, thick, persistent head. Aroma is strongly fruity, mainly raspberry, with some spicy hints. Raspberry dominates the sweet malty flavor. Drinking this beer is almost like drinking raspberry-flavored pop, so it could be insidious!
