Developed in partnership with NRJ radio station, this strapping red is topped by festive white foam that sticks to the edges of the glass. La Griffe has bite and energy. With its aromas of herbs and spices, it flirts with summer. At taste, it floods the palate with notes of earth and grass joined by accents of chlorophyll. A caress of caramel marries an ever present rye before blasting towards a final bitter end. It really stays with you, a talon that marks the tongue as much as the mind.

Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a clean amber-brown colour with a small head and minimal lacing. When stirred, farm notes appear. Then, fruity malts and light darker grain. The taste has bite with a hop kick start giving bitterness. Then, going into the fruity malts, ending on a decent dryness with the rye lingering. Interesting brew, but not one of my favorites.
