500 ml capped bottle. Poured in a Weizen Vase an unfiltered and almost opaque golden-yellow coloured Hefeweizen with a generous two fingers slightly beige pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is yeast, wheat malts, spicy, cloves, fruity, pineapples, bananas, citrus and a quite unpleasant sourish feeling. The flavour is moderate wheaty malts, moderate fruity, bananas, apples, citrus, spicy tones, cloves and pepper. The mouthfeel is light crispy and thin. The texture is watery. This light to medium bodied H W has a dry malty and sourish finish. The constant and unpleasant sourish feeling along the tasting leads to a not convincing Hefeweizen from the Bodensee aera.

A cloudy yellow colored beer with a big sudsy textured, white head rising robustly above. Excellent hang time on the head. It settles eventually into a moderate soap-fluffed ringlet. Bananas, white and spice in the nose. More of the same with a wheatiness added. Effervescent lightness and refreshing.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy yellowish orange colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheat, sweet fruits, mild herbal notes and some mild yeasty notes. Flavour is wheat, some fruits, mild herbs as well as earth and yeast.
