La Polock est une bière brassée dans la tradition unique des «Grodziskie» polonaises, dont la recette fut élaborée en collaboration entre Le Trou du diable et Birrificio Italiano, de Lugaro Marinone, en Italie. Pour l’occasion, 250 kg de blé malté furent cette fois fumés dans le fumoir du Tdd aux abords du Lac Vert, par une froide journée de février. Le résultat est une blonde pâle, légèrement voilée, qui fleure bon le boucan. La bouche, légère et hautement savoureuse, expose avec beaucoup d’éloquence ses forts accents de fumaison.

Enjoyed at the brewpub on my October 2017 beer trip. Pours a hazy light yellow colour with a white cap, average retention and a nice collar. Smells like a farm at first. The smokiness comes out to explain things on the grains with hints of citrus. Light tasting as 4% ABV. but the smoked malts show through, watery with the citrus in the back. A nice light session smoky beer.
