As spring breezes refresh our spirits and make us think of warmer months ahead, so too will this tribute to traditional Belgian farmhouse ales. Brewed with authentic saison & wild Brettanomyces yeasts, we have added citrus zest & juice to the mix. Throw in some cracked pepper, and classic rustic yeast character, and you’ve got a refreshingly dry companion to your summer thirst.

Hazy bright golden colour with a big frothy white head, a long stay and some foamy lacing. Saison aromas with the sweet yeast, citrus notes, grassy hops and the wild yeast in the background. The earth is felt way more in the taste with citrus fruits, grains and milder hoppiness lingering away. A nice mix of both styles. Maybe just a little too much earthiness in the taste for my likings.

Pours hazy apricot with a thin but serviceable eggshell head. Aroma offers strong tart pomme/tropical fruit and fresh malt. Flavor continues the tart fruit and adds a little yeast and hops to the mix. Mouthfeel offers typical fizz and body. O Canada!
