Let me preface by saying I don't like hefe wheats. Pours a nice cloudy yellow with a thin head. Flavor is sweet with caramels. All I can taste is the banana-like flavor to it. Looking at other reviews, it seems to be a good representation of it's style, but I couldn't enjoy it.

Of the two lazy mag beers i had tonight i liked this the least. Had an aftertast to me that wasn't pleasing. It was a cloudy yellow and the aroma wasn't all that special to me. For some reason the taste on this was just, blah. I just didn't get into this beer and i'll see if i change my mind by having this beer first next time.

From a Party Pig. Poured a slightly cloudy golden color with a light white head. Very slight lacing. Very pleasant malty caramel aroma. Above average mouthfeel. Flavor was pretty wheaty, with a malty kick to it. A lot better than I expected, especially since I'm not a big wheat ale fan. But this is a solid wheat beer.

A nice wheat based blonde ale, this one poured without a lot of excitement (small to no head with no lacing). The aroma was of sweat light wheat, maybe yeast (probably not). The flavor was excellent, definitely malty (again wheat detectable) with a touch of hop zing in the finish (some citrus, light peppery). Great balance and good flavor and not destroyed by a mouthfull of Ameican hops, like many others Stateside. Mouthfeel was medium to full bodied for just a wheat based "blonde."

To me, it kind of says something about a brewery when they’re thinking up what to brew for their "light" beer and the answer is "Let’s make something that’s 1/3 rye, 1/3 wheat, and 1/3 2-row barley. This is the least flavorful of their beer, but still has a nice malt profile with a bit of spiciness from the rye. The hops provide a tempting little tingle to the mix to make for a nice little beer.
