Arriving virtually headless, the appearance was dark and went along with a gentle aroma of dark chocolate and some drak malt. Flavour was likewise but also featured some coffee notes. Smooth mouthfeel with a hint of bitterness here and there.

This poured a brownish to black color with a beige head. Some chocolate, caramel, coffee and licorice showing up in the aroma. A very roasty flavor with some coffee, chocolate and licorice. Overall this was a nice porter.

This review is from notes that I took previously on a trip to portland This was dry, roasty, tasty and quite enjoyable. It’s smooth to drink and has a nice body.
