This beer was better than I thought it was going to be for an organic beer. Had it at Blitz in Portland. Has a nice red color and a very nice balance of sweetness and hops. I don't care for the aftertaste of most amber ales, but this one wasn't bad at all.

Pretty redish color, strongly malt, with just a hint of sweetness, one of the better organics that I have come across. Good value all in all would buy again.

Red color. Small head. Aroma is malty and sweet. Malty and fairly hoppy. Nice flavor. Good balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This beer was a pleasant surprise. When I see a red or amber ale, the first thing that comes to mind is a generic, bland, ale. This was a good beer. Nice and malty w/ a dry finish.
