Tall can from Foodland. Pours a massive frothing white head with thick soapy lace and has a clear straw coloured appearance. Excessive carbonation. Aromas of corn, grainy malt, cereal, maybe some grassy hops. Flavours of grain and cereal malt, some corn notes and a bit wheaty, some very subtle grassy and herbal notes, very faint. Other than that, not much else.

The beer poured a translucent gold with no head. The aroma is grainy malt, vomit, and acid. The mouthfeel is weak bodied, almost watery, with medium carbonation. The flavour is awful...acidic, with some malt and sour hints. Avoid. -

I've had all the Laker products in the past, so I may as well review them....right? After all, I don;t plan on drinking any of them again in the future. This was pale gold, no head, grainy malt aroma, with some discernable alcohol. The taste was nothing to speak of...quite watery with a grainy aftertaste.

Bought in the cheapy single section of the LCBO. Pours a golden colour with hardly any carbonation. The white head dissipates quickly and leaves a bit of lace. The nose seems like alcohol, metallic water and grains. The taste is slightly bitter and bites a bit with the alcohol, then goes into this clean dry aftertaste with hints of corn. Pretty refreshing and easy drinkability, but hits the spot... and you feel it without seeing it come.

taste wise this is seems halfway between regular laker and the strong. as with my review of the strong, not bad for a cheapie, and the stronger alcohol somewhat offsets the watery taste. good for a cheap beer buzz that won't offend the palate.

The third of the teerible"buck a beer" Brick sodie pops I endured. This is definately the worst so far. Same fizzy, no-head, pale straw colored look. Aroma non existant except for a slight damp cardboard smell....watery, gassy mouthfeel dominated by carbonation and the weak taste of sour vegetal juice....fast finish with no detectable malt or hop presense...this is like a sour veggy soda pop....not to be recommended or taken seriously.
