Our version of a Belgian classic, brewed with wheat malt and spiced with coriander and orange peel. Pours a beautiful hazy blond-gold with a thick pearly white head. The nose is yeasty with a light aroma of fruit and spice. This beer is as crisp and refreshing as the aroma implies, with the wheat malt supplying a full, somewhat sweet background to the orange and coriander flavor. Spritzy carbonation lifts the sweetness to lend a crisp finish. A great beer for a warm summer day. Great with Belgian moules frites (steamed, buttered mussels and French fries) or charcuterie. The crisp carbonation in our White can cut through even the richest, creamiest dishes.

A beer of the month club entry from a few months ago. A nice somewhat citrus touched brew. Somewhat cloudy, yes it is a white beer, unfiltered and generally tasty.

This white beer was on sale for 3.99 a 6 pack. Probably cause they found some they forgot about, the beer is 4 months old. The nose is a little sharp as for white beers. The flavor of it is very fruity. Like berries and candy and stuff.

The last of my multipack from Lakefront. This is a White beer. It pours a cloudy pale yellow. It has a moderate soapy white head. No hang time on this one. And a rather small ringlet was left behind. The aroma is bold, and typical of the genre. Wheat, citrus, spices, all nicely blended. Likewise the taste holds the same on the palate. The body is where it falls short of being on the ‘Dean’s List’. While there is ample carbonation, the body os weak, just short of being classified as watery. Despite this it was a decent quaff.

Poured a pale yellow/golden color with smaller head and almost no lacing. Aroma was coriander and other spices missing some basic aroma. Flavor much the same but was way to sour/tart. Not a great beer.

After two tastings of this, it's ok, not great within style. The pour is typical in color, pale golden, head underaverage, quite flat looking after a few seconds (although plenty carbonated). The aroma was wheat with some coriander type spicing going on. The flavor follow suite, some bitter to sour wheaty aspects holding things together, but far inferior to the best of its class. Mouthfeel was a tad on the thin side, need more heartiness in a Wit.

First product from Lafefront. Aroma is wet-like with some yeasty sweetness as well as some spice like strong coriander and orange peel and not to bad. Appearance is a very hazy and cloudy in color with a large head on top that is frothy and a bleah-white in color and leaves thick lacing on the glass. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and tasty and very well-rounded with spicy complexity as well as balance with a palate that is clean and very crisp as well as wet-like. Flavor is of spices with some coriander and orange peel with acidic overtones with an aftertaste that light and tart with a finish that is thirst-quenching. Overall, not a bad wit here and pretty tasty...recommended...

Light gold color. A full-bodied and full-flavored wit beer. Typical of the Belgian style. Light malts and a blend of unmalted wheat, oats, orange peel and coriander seed. Mild hops. Light and smooth refreshing taste. Nice flavor, Citrus flavors predominate. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is full and round. Aftertaste is slightly malty.
