One of the few beers brewed in the world using 100% certified organic ingredients including the hops! A classic British style Extra Special Bitter that pours a brilliant amber with a nice off-white head. Cascade hops lend a citrusy bite to the malty flavor to yield a very refreshing taste. Goes great with burgers and grilled vegetables, a nice summer meal! Ideal Serving Temp: 52-54° F

Yet another Lakefront brew courtesy of the PfoxyJohn. Translucent copper pour with a cream colored head leaving nice lacing throughout. Light sweet malty aroma with a nice hops offset both in the nose and palate, lightly nutty and bready, then a decent hops bitter linger, then a hint of something metallic as it warms but overall a very good organic beer. Thank you John.

Pours clear coppr-orange with a modeate white head. Sweet malts dominate the nose and almost stage a coup over flavor - with only the fainest bit of hops present. Oddly slick to the pallette - think WD-40 - but still not an entirely hateful beer.

another miss for us. similar generic (kit?) malt profile to the Stein and even the pilsner mixed with some off/funky hop bitterness. aroma better than the flavor.

An amber colored ale on pour. Big frothy beige jead. Moderate retention with clouds of lacing left behind. There is a scent of sweet caramel buried in a light scenting of pine and citrus hops. Big carbonation character. Body is light, but there is a smoothness. Nice tasting of citrus, backed up by the pine and sweet caramel. Really a decent quaff.

Comes out of the bottle a beautiful clear copper, almost mahogany, with a thick sandy off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is malty with an undertone of cinnamon and a sharp hint of fruit. Flavor is on the thin side, strongly but not fiercely bitter. Texture is smooth and just a bit watery, not very tingly. Not the best I have had, but acceptable.

I really hope my bottle was old...I smell sour grapes.. There was a nice head for a bit. Color was cloudy light red. Mouth feel sucked.it was like drinking apple pucker. Flavor was a jolly rancher gone bad... I love ESB even more so I get excited when it says organic... This was awful

Kind of disappointing after enjoying Lakefront's pale ale so much. Pours light amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is malty and yeasty; couldn't detect much hops. Flavor is malty with just a bit of hop bitterness. Would have liked this better if there were more hops.

The beer pours a dark amber. The malt is a little bready and lightly sweet, but the hops aren’t as prevalent as some. This, in the ends, is a very drinkable beer.

Deep golden color and a thin, foamy white head. The nose is not really pleasant at all, slightly sour cooked veggies. Mouthfeel is full and smooth, but the taste is mediocre at best; mostly fruit and sour mash. Hard to call this an ESB, no real hop presence, and no solid malt foundation either.

Poured a dark golden color with a light head. It had sort of a fruity flavor. Though definetly refreshing it was nothing to brag about. Worth a try though.
